“It is incredibly disappointing that Minister Rankine is still refusing to explain to the people of South Australia why South Australia’s child protection system is letting down the very children it is responsible for protecting,” said Shadow Minister for Families and Child Protection Rachel Sanderson.

“Minister Rankine needs to provide as much information as possible regarding the failure of Families SA to protect vulnerable children.

“Not only did Minister Rankine fail to answer a series of important questions she also failed to justify why she refused to answer the questions.

“Families SA needs a Minister to lead the organisation from the front and that requires an open and honest dialogue based on the facts.”
