Single-Use Plastics Ban Survey

The Marshall Liberal Government will shortly be introducing legislation to phase out single-use plastic products in South Australia.

WHAT IS BEING PROPOSED?

  • An immediate phase out of single use plastic straws, plastic cutlery and plastic stirrers.

  • Other items are being considered such as takeaway coffee cups, plastic bags that are thicker and not compostable and other takeaway food service items.
